Abedejah

Cinderella has always been my favorite fairy tale, and it amazes me how nearly every culture around the world has its own version of this iconic story. Abedejah is the Filipino Cinderella. I decided it would be fun to create my own version of Cinderella that follows the traditional version of the fairy tale we know but in a 1930s Filipino setting.

Hey there!

I am a character animator and illustrator based in Houston, Texas. I grew up loving all things animated and knew I had to make it my career when I grew up. I graduated with a BFA in Animation from Brigham Young University where I worked on the Student Emmy Award-winning short film "Cenote," and now I am honing my skills with Animschool. I've worked with Deseret News, and Digital Gravy, along with freelance work.

In my spare time, I enjoy baking, painting, and cuddling with my husband and two dogs.
